Full-Time Service Writer

Primary duties include but are not limited to providing a fluid and accommodating point of contact for customers to drop off their bicycles that are in need of service and repair. A large portion of the job is face-to-face discussion and questioning to determine how to best serve the customer and their needs.

A thorough multi-point inspection of every bicycle is completed and options are discussed with the customer to determine the best service outcome to have their bike functioning at its best for their needs.

On-the-spot labor and parts requirements will be determined to give an encompassing quote so customers know what to expect from their service experience.

The job is dynamic, challenging, and constantly changing. If you are efficient, great with people, willing to constantly learn and adapt as a member of a team, and love the world of cycling, this job is for you.

Assets include but are not limited to:
  • A hunger for new information: Always ask questions!
  • Problem solver: Often there are many paths to a happy customer!
  • Computer proficiency:  internet browsers, basic word processing and media 
  • A knack for observation and documentation
  • Ability to multitask
  • Calm under pressure
  • Focus: Good customer service begins with your undivided attention
  • You have a system that keeps you organized
  • Basic knowledge of bicycle anatomy and function
  • A passion for cycling is a strong asset but not a requirement.

Full-Time Bicycle Technician

We are currently looking to fill the position of a Full-Time Bicycle Technician on our team. The successful candidate will be working directly with our service team. While experience in the industry is preferred, a positive attitude, strong work ethic and desire to help others are the most important attributes we look for in candidates.

Full-Time Customer Service Members

We are driven to encourage and enhance an active, cycling lifestyle through uniquely positive customer service and we want to help deliver this vision by striving to surpass customer expectations.

We are currently looking for Full-Time Customer Service members to join our team. The successful candidates will be working directly with our customer service team. You would need to ensure customer satisfaction, and exceed customers’ expectations. You would be expected to support all the store’s operational duties, and learn and understand the products and services we offer.    

Job Requirements

  • Retail sales experience
  • Retail sporting goods/bike shop experience considered an asset
